Zebras and scratchboard go together like...well, like gin and tonic: yum! However, a zebra is among the most finicky subjects to depict in scratchboard, due to the fine work needed to convey the smooth lines and sharp contrasts on its hide. This animal conveys a bit of the restless nervousness of zebras on the move. I am well pleased with the image.
